IRISTEM is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with researchers, universities, and science organizations to make advanced STEM research understandable and useful for younger students.

IRISTEM helps researchers meet their Broader Impacts goals by translating complex STEM research into accessible, student-centered curriculum and outreach materials.

Our student team studies research papers, reports, and project materials, then develops clear explainers, classroom resources, activities, visuals, and outreach tools for youth audiences.
