A closer look
On June 1, 2017, President Donald Trump announced that the United States would withdraw from the Paris climate agreement. The Conversation assembled a panel of experts to analyze the decision. This lesson uses their perspectives, from a climate scientist, a business scholar, an Earth scientist, and an agriculture specialist, to explore how international climate agreements work and who is affected when a major country leaves.
